*From your first kiss -to- realizing that people in their 20's don't even hit on you anymore*

*From saying goodbye to high school -to- realizing a reunion is coming up and you don't care*

*From holding that brand new baby -to- seeing that same child get taller than you*

*From sparse apartment or dorm -to- a home, filled with your things and memories*

All those in-between moments are so often lost. We remember the beginning and sometimes don't even realize we are moving past it until something smacks us in the face with the time that has past. I joke a lot about the end of eras. What I mean is all the little steps that we sometimes miss on the way to the big change.  Today we ran into someone while out and about. An adult I didn't know but one of my children did. With perfect etiquette we were introduced - by name and all. I watched as the two of them talked about their summers.  It was the end of a era. My child is starting to cross that line from child to adult. The little signs are everywhere.  It will be a long, difficult walk. I'm glad I'm here to watch him walk it.
